Janine Doolan,
Licensed Therapist in California
& Founder of Clover Mental Health
Hi! My name is Janine, I am a wife, mother and a psychotherapist. I Specialize in Anxiety, Postpartum Mood Disorders and Relationship Issues.
I believe through authentic connection, openness and the humor and joy that often comes up during this time together, we can work together to help you face life's challenges.

I am collaborative, conversational and transparent.
I share my own thoughts and insights, inviting discussion, self reflection and processing. We will work together to help you gain insight, understanding, and acceptance of yourself. My priority is to provide a judgement free space where you can come as you are and feel validated and seen.

We will collaborate to set goals, use evidence-based techniques and come up with a plan to help you achieve those goals. I will provide you with tools that will help you cope with difficult feelings, regulate your emotions and find healing. It would be my honor to join your journey towards living your best life!
About Janine Doolan
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#142230) & Mom of two.
I am based out of Los Angeles, California and fluent in both English and Spanish. One of the reasons I am so passionate about what I do is because I have been there. I have experienced prenatal and postpartum anxiety as well as the pressure of the internal dialogue to be "perfect". The struggle of balancing it all with the endless to-do list that leads to overwhelm, stress and burnout. These are normal human challenges that we deserve to learn how to manage.

I use an Integrative approach with an emphasis on Humanistic therapy, a type of psychotherapy that focuses on helping people reach their full potential by making changes that align with their values. I will empower you to explore your thoughts, process your feelings and help your self-awareness and self-compassion grow. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

I believe that the heart of therapy lies in the connection between the therapist and the client.

I attended Florida State University for undergrad and received a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles. I have been practicing since 2019, serving several different populations at local agencies and have also worked as a School-Based Therapist.

When I am not in the office, you can find me walking my dogs with my youngest baby in tow, eating good food or running around after my energetic toddler. To decompress I love a good movie or binge worthy show!
